HL-F 20kW fiber laser cutting machine 30 kW and 40 kW versions

Built for fabricators who cut thick plate every day — and need thin sheet out fast in between.

20, 30 and 40 kW enclosed flatbed cutters with exchange table, built for thick plate and high-volume thin sheet.

  • 20–40 kWlaser power
  • Up to 12 × 2.5 mbed size
  • Exchange tablestandard
  • Automation-readyloading & storage

The HL-F Series is an enclosed, dual-table fiber laser cutting machine with 20, 30 or 40 kW laser sources. It is built for fabricators who cut thick carbon steel and stainless plate every day, or who need maximum throughput on thin and medium sheet with nitrogen or compressed air. Bed sizes run from 3 × 1.5 m to 12 × 2.5 m, and every HL-F can be connected to Halcyon automatic loading and storage.

Highlights

  • Lower cost per part

High power lets you cut thin and medium carbon and stainless steel with compressed air instead of nitrogen, and cut faster across the whole thickness range.

  • More hours in production

Exchange table as standard; add automatic loading, unloading and storage to run unattended shifts.

  • Transparent configuration

Every key component is listed by brand and model, so you compare quotations like for like.

  • Support built in

Remote diagnostics router on every machine, starter spare-parts kit and on-site installation and training.

  • Fully enclosed cabin with laser-safe viewing windows and zoned dust extraction

  • Auto-focus cutting head with collision protection; nozzle auto-change option

  • Welded, stress-relieved bed; rigid gantry

  • Bevel cutting head option for weld preparation

  • Large-format laser cutter: beds up to 12 × 2.5 m for plate and structural work

Cutting Capability

Maximum thickness and production cutting speed by laser power, material and gas, so you can check a machine against your own parts. See also the cut sample library.

Detailed figures are available on request — ask an application engineer.

Every value will come from a documented test cut on a Halcyon machine (material grade, nozzle, gas pressure and edge-quality grade recorded). Max. thickness = separable cut; speed = production-quality cut at the stated thickness.

Automation

Exchange table

Standard. Load the next sheet while the current one is cut.

Frequently asked questions

Should I choose 20, 30 or 40 kW?

Choose by the thickness you cut most, not the maximum you cut occasionally. 20 kW suits shops whose main work is thin-to-medium steel at high speed; 30 kW pays back when thick plate is daily work; 40 kW is for heavy-plate specialists and very high air-cutting volumes. Higher power also cuts thin sheet faster with compressed air, which lowers gas cost.

Can the HL-F cut with compressed air instead of nitrogen?

Yes. High-power sources let you cut carbon steel and stainless steel in the thin-to-medium range with clean, dry compressed air, which is much cheaper than nitrogen. You need a suitable air compressor, dryer and filtration; we specify this in the quotation.

What is included in the price?

A standard HL-F quotation includes the machine, laser source, chiller, cutting head, CNC and nesting software, exchange table, a starter spare-parts kit, documentation in English, remote diagnostics and operator training. Freight, installation travel, local duties and the fume extractor are listed separately so quotes can be compared line by line.

Can I test my own part before buying?

Yes. Send a DXF/DWG drawing with material and thickness through our test cut request. We cut it and send you a video and photos of the cut edge.

How long is delivery?

Lead time depends on power and bed size.

How thick can a 20 kW or 30 kW fiber laser cut carbon steel, stainless and aluminium?

It depends on material grade, gas and the edge quality you need. We publish maximum and production thickness for 12, 20, 30 and 40 kW per material and gas in our fiber laser cutting thickness chart, based on documented test cuts.

Four fields are enough for the HL-F. Add materials, thickness and timeframe if you can — it helps us send a configuration and budget price in the first reply.
