What we collect and why

• Enquiry, quote, service and test-cut forms: name, company, business email, country, and anything you choose to add (phone, materials, thickness, timeframe, message, drawings). We use this only to answer your request and, if you buy from us, to perform the contract. Legal basis: steps prior to a contract and our legitimate interest in answering business enquiries (GDPR Art. 6(1)(b) and (f)).
• Server and security data: our hosting provider (Cloudflare) processes technical data such as IP address, time and requested page to deliver and secure the website. To stop form spam we keep a one-way hash of the sender's IP address for 15 minutes; the IP address itself is not stored with your enquiry.

What we do not use

This website sets no cookies, uses no analytics or advertising trackers, and loads no fonts, scripts or videos from third-party servers. The part cost calculator runs entirely in your browser; nothing you type into it is sent to us.

Who receives your data

Your enquiry is handled by our sales and service team. Where needed to answer it — for example a test cut or a quotation — we share the technical details of your request with the manufacturing partner that builds the machine. This website, its form processing and our email routing are provided by Cloudflare, Inc.

How long we keep it

Form submissions are kept as a backup copy for up to 12 months and drawings sent for test cuts for up to 180 days, unless we need them longer to perform a contract with you.

Your rights

You can ask for access to, correction or deletion of your data, restriction of processing and data portability, and you can object to processing based on legitimate interest. You also have the right to complain to a data protection supervisory authority. Write to sales@halcyonlaser.com.
