HB-A robotic press brake cell and panel bender
Built for shops where bending, not cutting, is the bottleneck.
Robotic press brake cells and panel benders for automatic bending of repeat parts and panels.
- Robot cellload, bend, stack
- Panel benderautomatic panel bending
- Unattendedrepeat batches
HB-A covers two ways to automate bending: a robotic press brake cell, where a robot loads, bends and stacks parts on a CNC press brake, and a panel bender, which bends panels and boxes automatically without manual handling. Both target repeat parts and shops where a high-power laser produces blanks faster than operators can bend them.
Highlights
Bending keeps up with cutting
A 20 kW laser can out-produce manual bending; automation closes the gap.
Consistent parts
Programmed handling and bending give the same result every shift.
Fewer skilled operators
One person supervises the cell instead of handling every bend.

Frequently asked questions
When is a robotic press brake cell worth it?
When you bend repeat parts in batches, run more than one shift or struggle to hire press-brake operators. Measure how many hours bending lags behind cutting, then compare the cell cost with that lost capacity.
Panel bender or press brake?
A panel bender is faster and more automatic for panels and boxes with many bends along the edges; a press brake is more flexible for varied part shapes and thicker material.
Can automatic bending be added to an existing press brake?
Sometimes, depending on the machine and controller.
